Cheese Broccoli Sandwich

Ingredients

For The Broccoli

  • 1 large head of broccoli (grated)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • 2 TBsp of almond flour
  • 1 Tsp of baking powder
  • 1 Tsp of salt
  • 1 Tsp of paprika
  • Pinch of thyme
  • 2 Tbsp of butter

For The Filling

  • 6 slices of pastrami
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese (you can use mozzarella cheese)

Instructions

Preparing The Lamb shank

In a bowl, add the grated broccoli, crack 3 eggs over it, and add the rest of the ingredients (cheese, almond flour) and season with paprika, thyme, salt and pepper, then add the baking powder

Mix well till you reach a dough consistency.

In a pan, heat the butter then add one round of dough, flatten it with spatula shaping it into one big round.

Cook for 1 min or 2 till it turns brownish then flip it to the other side.

This amount will make you 4 layers that can make 2 stuffed sandwiches.

Repeat with the rest of the dough. Once the bread is cooked, add your cheese and pastrami and keep heating the sandwiches on the skillet until the breads are crisp and cheese is melted.
